3/5/25 Meeting: Today we had our med student panel where our members had the opportunity to ask questions to current medical students here at UMN. We also had presentations for our President, Vice-President, and Treasurer positions for the executive board next year!

2/19/25 Meeting: Today we were joined by guest speaker Dr. Clifford Steer, who is focused on Hepatology and Internal Medicine.
2/12/25 Meeting: Today, ACR Homes hosted a healthcare skills training lab!
2/5/25 Meeting: Dr. Stephen Contag, MD, a maternal-fetal medicine physician, joined us to talk about his pathway and specialty.
1/29/25 Meeting: Dr. Jeremy Allred, MD, an oncologist focused on blood cancers joined us to talk about his pathway and specialty.
MCAT Bootcamp: Our board members walked through MCAT general information, pre-requisite courses, structure, and practice questions!
12/11/24 Meeting: We hosted a de-stress event where we made tie-blankets to donate!
12/4/24 Meeting: We were joined by dermatologist Dr. Dellavalle, where he talked about his specialty and pathway to medicine!
11/20/24 Meeting: We were joined by family medicine physician Dr. Hallberg, where he talked about his specialty and pathway to medicine!
11/13/24 Meeting: We were joined by anesthesiologist Dr. Jason Habeck, where he talked about his pathway and speciality!
11/6/24 Meeting: We hosted a Freshman Pre-med prep meeting, where AMSA Board Members discussed a general timeline for pre-meds and getting involved with activities like research, volunteering, and patient hours.
10/30/24 Meeting: Dr. Hunt, a neuroradiologist, came in to talk about his pathway and specialty!
10/23/24 Meeting: Clinical ethicist Dr. Henriksen joined us over Zoom to talk about her job and role working with physicians.
10/16/24 Meeting: We hosted our medical student panel, where UMN medical students answered our members’ questions!
10/09/24 Meeting: Dr. Siu-Hin Wan, a heart failure cardiologist, talked about his pathway to medicine and what he does in his specialty!

9/25/24 Meeting: Dr. Nadeau DDS, MD, a Maxillofacial Surgeon, joined us to talk about his pathway and specialty!
9/18/24 Meeting: Dr. Goldfarb, MD, a dermatologist, joined us to talk about his pathway to medicine and what he does in his specialty. Additionally, ACR Homes came in to talk about job opportunities that are great for pre-health students!
